Nicholas Playoust is the Managing Director of AEH Retirement Living and a main board director of AEH Group. He is responsible for the management and growth of the AEH Retirement Living business, including project development, village operations, sales, and marketing.
Nicholas’ various directorships give him broad experience across various investment classes including property, private equity, agribusiness, and early-stage entrepreneurial small caps.
He has a particular passion for housing, seniors’ housing, and innovative ways to provide accommodation to the current and next generation of senior Australians, with an emphasis on quality, service, and affordability. He also has a keen interest in urban planning and architecture.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) and Bachelor of Science (Architecture) from Sydney University. He has completed courses at the London School of Economics in Microeconomics and Accounting and is currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).
Nicholas was a non-executive Director of AEH from 1995 and Executive Director since 2003.
