A Message from the President

Marie-Louise MacDonald

The National Retirement Living Summit and Awards Gala Dinner are set to return to your event calendars next June.

Set to focus on the key issues that have shaped the retirement living sector in the past 22 months, we have prepared a program worthy of ‘Leading the Way’ with global and local industry leaders and experts to discuss the issues that matter.

The Aged Care Royal Commission, the importance of affordable age-friendly housing, high-level briefings on industry innovations, workforce staffing, sector progress domestically and internationally, and much more.

While COVID has presented real challenges for retirement communities across the nation, the Summit highlights the positive contribution being made by so many across the industry.

The Summit’s theme this year is ‘Leading the Way’, something that we feel is very suited to how the industry has performed in recent years.

With a fantastic program on offer, the Summit gives you the opportunity to engage with sector best practice operators, developers, investors, and industry consultants. This will allow you to take away knowledge and tools for your own organisation’s continuous improvement pathways.

Not only this, but the Summit is a chance for re-connection, professional development, and celebrating success.

The retirement living industry represents the forefront of age-friendly communities in Australia. By coming together as a collective, the Summit gives industry professionals the ability to expand their circles and to learn.

Be ready to be challenged. Be inspired. Be ready to lead.

We look forward to seeing you on the Gold Coast!
